Reading: Skylight Confessions

Skylight Confessions by Alice Hoffman

Part One, I didn’t like.  I almost stopped reading the book.  It made me dizzy and I kept wanting to put the book down and get away from it.  But I kept reading because starting a new book is sometimes too much effort.  Part Two was much more serene and even though the book is quite haunting there is an ethereal quality also.  I’m glad I didn’t stop reading.

I love that you say sometimes your new book is too much effort. That’s exactly how I feel and I’m reading Alice Hoffman as a break too. : )
