Ayla’s Project: Monologue

Assignment: Choose any monologue, memorize it, record it on video, and email it to the teacher.

Monologue a video by Daily Foolishness on Flickr.

She couldn’t choose which monologue she wanted to do, so her mom picked.  Heh.

Edited for language.

Ayla’s Science Fair Project: Get the Sensation

Purpose:  The problem is figuring out if the menthol in a mint leaf actually cools down the temperature in your mouth, or if your mouth is playing tricks on you.  When you put a mint in your mouth and drink water, your mouth feels really cool.  The purpose of this experiment is to achieve a goal of figuring out if mint actually cools down your mouth or if it is just a “cooling sensation.”

Cupcake elected herself Supervisor of the Science Fair Project.  I can’t tell you how many times during this process I heard Ayla yell, “Cupcake!!”

Ayla wanted to create a fun cover for her binder. The gigantic 3-inch binder she has to carry everywhere and look at every day. So, we had a little fun with it…
